Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Advanced Practitioner opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut.
Trinity Health Of New England—the region’s largest nonprofit health system—is seeking a Trauma / Acute Care Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding faculty practice. In this role, you will work as part of a high-performing Trauma team in our Level I Trauma program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. You will fulfill a critical role on the trauma team, providing patient care across the continuum, including trauma activations and resuscitation. Our hospital is a tertiary referral center with a robust group of consultants and specialists.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing inpatient acute care. Previous trauma and critical care experience are a plus. Advanced training in trauma/acute care surgery is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an elite Trauma team and an opportunity to become an expert in trauma care. In our major teaching hospital, surgery residents are present year-round, and experienced APP’s provide coverage in all service areas, including the intensive care units.
