Primary Care Clinical Lead APRN full-time and half-time opportunities with Healthcare for the Homeless in Greater Springfield, Massachusetts – 

Mercy Medical Center seeks two licensed and experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our Healthcare for the Homeless team in Springfield, Massachusetts. One Full Time (40 hours) provider and one Half Time (20 hours) provider are needed.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established group of collaborative care clinicians in our outpatient clinics and telehealth environments to provide primary health care to a primarily homeless population. You will also lead, and serve as a professional resource to Registered Nurses, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Medical Assistants, and Community Health Workers and provide advice and guidance necessary to resolve complex client problems.  This includes advocating for clients within the health care system and the community to resolve barriers to care and sensitize service providers to the needs of the population. 

The successful candidate will be Board Certified, have an active Massachusetts APRN license, and DEA X Waiver, have at least 1-2 years of experience as APRN and be a team player with an interest in providing compassionate, full-spectrum care for adult patients, especially those with behavioral health and substance abuse issues. Bi-lingual Spanish/English fluency is a plus.  Experience in leading or supervising others preferred. Selected candidates with qualifying outstanding educational loans may be eligible for loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps.
