Per Diem Primary Care PA/APRN (CLINICAL SUPERVISOR) opportunity in Greater Springfield, Massachusetts.
Mercy Medical Center seeks a licensed and experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Healthcare for the Homeless team in Springfield, Massachusetts.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established group of collaborative care clinicians in our outpatient clinics, community outreach and telehealth environments. In this per diem role, you will practice 20 hours a week to provide primary health care to a primarily homeless population. You will also lead, and serve as a professional resource, to Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and Community Health Workers and provide the advice and guidance necessary to resolve complex client problems. This includes advocating for clients within the health care system and the community to resolve barriers to care and sensitize service providers to the needs of the population.
The successful candidate will be Board Certified, have an active Massachusetts APRN or Physician Assistant license, and DEA X License, have at least 1-2 years of experience as APRN/PA and be a team player with an interest in providing compassionate, full-spectrum care for adult patients, especially those with behavioral health and substance abuse issues. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking candidates are also preferred. Experience in leading or supervising others preferred.
