Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts—a member of Trinity Health Of New England, the region’s largest nonprofit health system—seeks an experienced Certified Physician Assistant to join our in-house orthopedic surgery team on a per diem basis as part of our Physician Assistant Surgical Service team at Mercy Medical Center.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a cohesive surgery team of surgical Physician Assistants who work under the direction and supervision of orthopedic surgeons. This position is ideal for a self-motivated and experienced PA who wants to maximize their skill set. This role includes rotation as a first assistant in the operating room and requires the ability to evaluate surgical patients and communicate effectively with hospital staff. Candidates should have previous experience in orthopedic surgery including but not limited to total joint and orthopedic trauma cases and be available for shifts during week days.
