Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT—a member of Trinity Health Of New England, the region’s largest nonprofit health system—seeks an experienced Certified Physician Assistant to join our in-house orthopedic surgery team on a per diem basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a cohesive team of surgical Physician Assistants who work under the direction and supervision of orthopedic surgeons. This position is ideal for a self-motivated and experienced PA who wants to maximize their skill set. The role includes coverage of elective and trauma orthopedic patients with ER and OR coverage, including the ability to evaluate surgical patients and communicate effectively with hospital staff.  This position will require technical skills and knowledge to master first assisting in the orthopedics and at times cross covering first assisting in multiple surgical specialties. Orthopedic surgery first assist experience is required.
