Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our hospitalist team at the Saint Mary’s Hospital Observation Unit in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Join an established hospitalist team providing inpatient care. This opportunity will allow you to use your full breadth of experience assessing and managing the care of a diverse patient panel within the observation unit, as well as interpreting diagnostic studies, laboratory tests and therapies. As an integral member of the hospitalist team, you will collaborate closely with the group and other hospital departments to help patients transition back to their primary care provider in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be able to provide valuable support to patients and their families on disease processes, follow-up care and medications and help them coordinate additional consultations or referrals. 

This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday-Friday, day shift schedule. There are no call or night shift requirements. The successful candidate should be a licensed PA or APRN with experience working within an inpatient hospital role or within emergency medicine. We are seeking an exceptional team player with excellent clinical and communication skills.
