Trinity Health OF New England Medical Group—a member of Trinity Health Of New England, the region’s largest nonprofit health system—seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology Team in Springfield, MA.
This exciting, full-time position is ideal for a self-motivated Physician Assistant who is knowledgeable in the aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecological Surgery and enjoys working in the operating room and outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate would possess the current skills to evaluate surgical patients, interact with the Multidisciplinary Hospital Staff, and assist in all aspects of patient care. This includes first assist in the operating room, outpatient clinic work and some inhouse peri-operative management of our general gyn, uro-gyn and gyn-onc patients.
The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program who is eligible to be licensed to practice as a Certified Physician Assistant in Massachusetts. A current federal DEA and eligibility for Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration will be required. The candidate must have certification by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants). The successful candidate should have proven experience in a surgical setting or completion of a Postgraduate Surgical Residency program. We are open to highly motivated new graduates.
