OB/GYN Chairperson opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut.
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a dynamic, board-certified OB/GYN leadership candidate to serve as the Chair of OB/GYN and clinical leader of the Women's and Infants Service Line at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
This is an exciting opportunity to implement your vision and leadership in a flourishing department that is the cornerstone for our comprehensive Women’s and Infants Service Line. Obstetrics, Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Neonatology, Gynecologic Oncology, Genetic Counseling and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery services are provided by a collaborative team of 48 physicians and 17 advanced practitioners. The Chairperson will oversee all aspects of Service Line quality, operations, and growth. The Saint Francis OB/GYN Residency with 5 residents per year, and the co-sponsored Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery each have a reporting structure to the Chairperson. We are seeking an individual who can be an excellent resource for resident training, physician development, and a visionary who can help guide the growth and development of the Service Line. The successful candidate should be an established OB/GYN generalist or fellowship trained specialist with ten years of clinical experience and five or more years operating in a leadership role. The ideal candidate should be a proven relationship-builder who can relate and work collaboratively with employed and community physicians.
