The Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a full time certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 3 years clinical experience to join our Hematology/Oncology department in the Smilow Cancer Hospital – Yale New Haven at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. This opening is for a clinical leadership position within the group of nurse practitioners/physician assistants; with sites in Hartford Glastonbury, & Enfield; leadership experience preferred.
Join our prestigious, comprehensive hematology/oncology team that includes twelve physicians and nine advanced practitioners providing the full spectrum of oncological care. This integrated oncology practice brings together an extensive clinical trial portfolio, research, and clinical program development from Smilow Cancer Hospital/Yale New Haven Health. Our cutting-edge surgical care includes robotic and minimally invasive procedures. Additionally, the radiation oncology center offers state-of-the-art technology, including linear accelerators, CyberKnife® for radiosurgery, high-dose brachytherapy and radio nucleotide therapies. Hematology experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position provides clinical and administrative oversight and support, with (25-40%) protected time for administrative duties. This role partners closely with physician and nursing leadership within the oncology service line.
