Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a general surgery physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team working at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
Prestige and job satisfaction await a physician assistant or certified surgical first-assist nurse practitioner looking to join our highly skilled team of 12 advanced practice providers delivering comprehensive care across all aspects of multi-specialty surgery. You will provide comprehensive perioperative care, operative first assist and consultant services in support of our well-established team of surgical attendings and learners.
The ideal candidate will be NCCPA, AANPCB or ANCC board-certified; hold a current Connecticut state license; and be ACLS-certified. For nurse practitioners, RNFA certification is required. Two years of inpatient surgical experience is preferred, but a motivated new graduate will be considered. A high level of clinical autonomy is expected. There are in-house call responsibilities and flexible hours in this full-time position.
