Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group has an excellent Chief Medical Officer of Ambulatory Care opportunity for an established physician leader to join the executive team overseeing the Medical Group and Provider Services (MGPS) operations in the greater Hartford and Waterbury, Connecticut and Springfield, MA service areas.
As a Chief Medical Officer of Ambulatory Care for Trinity Health of New England Medical Group and Provider Services, you will be responsible for planning and directing the clinical leadership of ambulatory practices within MGPS with focus on primary care. This position works closely with Regional Service Line Leaders, local Chiefs, Provider Leads and Regional Directors to lead initiatives and performance across the MGPS network. Be a champion in contributing to the development of system-wide standards, strategies and objectives for clinical performance that align to Trinity Health of New England Medical Group’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. Provide guidance and direct leadership in administration of physician and non-physician provider compensation plans. Nurture a patient-focused culture that encourages collaboration amongst all provider teams and provide overall medical leadership, direction and integration of physician elements for all primary and ambulatory care.
The successful candidate should be an established, board-certified MD or DO with clinical practice in a Primary Care Specialty and at least five years of experience in progressive leadership roles in a comprehensive service line business and/or integrated health system. Active CT and MA medical licenses are required. The ideal candidate should be a proven visionary with the ability to implement strategic initiatives that emphasize building and enhancing clinical integration and regionalization, while exceeding patient and provider satisfaction goals.
