Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking certified nurse midwives to join its dedicated team of Women's Health providers at Mercy Medical Center in greater Springfield, Massachusetts.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established group within the area’s premier multi-specialty obstetrics practice. Join a collaborative team of nine full-scope midwives and seven OB/GYN physicians who handle approximately 800 deliveries per year. As a member of this team, you will be able to provide full-scope midwifery for women throughout their lifespan. Our four outpatient offices serve a diverse patient population. You will practice independent midwifery with the support of updated practice guidelines and in-house hospitalists. Births are attended at the Family Life Center, a freestanding 16-room LDRP with a triage unit and two operating rooms on the grounds of Mercy Medical Center. After one year of employment, you can join our teaching team within our preceptor program.

 

The schedule for this opportunity consists of three office days and one 24-hour call shift per week with rotating weekends and holidays. The successful candidate should have current active and unrestricted RN and CNM licensures and AMCB certification. We are seeking an individual with at least two years of experience within a full-scope midwife practice, but we are open to new graduates with excellent training. First assist for Cesarean training and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification are pluses, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
