Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practitioner to join the award-winning cardiac surgery team at the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute of Connecticut, located on the campus of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Prestige and job satisfaction await a physician assistant looking to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery Program. Here, alongside 10 physician assistants, 5 cardiac surgeons and a team of cardiologists you will be part of a team delivering comprehensive care across all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery. You will also be required to do patient care in the cardiac medical intensive care unit under a busy cardiology practice.
The ideal candidate will be NCCPA certified, hold a current Connecticut state license, and be ACLS certified. Two years of cardiothoracic surgical or critical care experience is preferred, but a motivated new graduate will be considered. A high level of clinical autonomy is expected.
